TL;DR: What used to be a manual, messy job of consolidating reports from multiple suppliers became a streamlined, automated process—saving time, cutting errors, and giving the team a clearer picture of campaign performance.

The Challenge

At Guerillascope, video-on-demand (VOD) campaigns generate performance reports from a whole mix of suppliers. Some arrive as PDFs, others as Excel sheets—each in a slightly different format.

Every week, someone would have to copy, paste, reformat, and cross-check the numbers. It wasn’t just tedious, it also meant small mistakes could slip through.

The problem was simple: too much time was going into admin instead of analysis.


The Shift

I built an automation tool to handle the heavy lifting.

It ingests all those reports—whatever the format—and standardises them into a single, clean template No more copy-paste chaos.

That meant the team could spend less time tidying data and more time spotting insights for clients.



Afterglow

The results were immediate. Weekly reports now take a fraction of the time.

Instead of wrestling with spreadsheets, the team can now focus on the bigger picture: campaign performance and strategy.

It was a small behind-the-scenes shift, but one that made a big difference.

I've signed up and have had a go using it this morning. It's great -  so easy to use and all the data pulling through seems to be accurate!
